- The native HD has a mounting plate located behind the DF1: floppy
- position. You can mount an HD on the DF1: mounting plate with no
- trouble, USUALLY. However, some drives (older Fujitsu models, for
- example) do not fit in the same space as a floppy drive and don't allow
- the case to be closed all the way.
-
- This is assuming, of course, that you didn't buy this used and the
- previous owner left some hardware out. It happens!
-
- At any rate, the short answer is "there is a plate in the 3000 that
- should mate up to your hard drive. However, you may need some spacers
- between it and the plate."
